National Breast Cancer Research Fund
The National Breast Cancer Foundation is an Australian non-profit organisation funding breast cancer research. It was established in 1994, and has awarded more than $200 million AUD to over 600 research projects across Australia. It primarily funds research projects studying risk factors, improving quality of life for patients, and developing and improving treatments. Breast cancer is a cancer that develops from breast tissue. The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness.
