Nathan Barry Walker (born 30 January 2006) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a winger for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League Men. Early life Walker was born in Auckland in 2006. His father is former New Zealand international cricketer Brooke Walker. Walker played for Bucklands Beach AFC, Onehunga Sports, Auckland United, and Fencibles United before joining the Wellington Phoenix Academy in early 2024. He was educated at Macleans College. Club career After joining the Phoenix Academy, Walker made 16 appearances and scored four goals for the Wellington Phoenix Reserves in the 2024 Central League. He made his senior Wellington Phoenix debut in an Australia Cup match against South Melbourne on 6 August 2024. The Phoenix lost 1–0 at Lakeside Stadium, Melbourne. Wellington Phoenix Football Club is a professional football club based in Wellington, New Zealand. It competes in the Australian A-League Men, under licence from Football Federation Australia. Brooke Graeme Keith Walker (born 25 March 1977) is a former New Zealand cricketer. He played five Test matches and 11 One Day Internationals. Walker attended Macleans College. He was born in Auckland. Playing career Walker's first-class and List A career started in the 1997–98 New Zealand domestic season. Walker made his debut for New Zealand against South Africa in November 2000. He played domestic cricket for Auckland. Later in his career he was the Auckland captain, leading them to three domestic championships. He retired from all cricket in June 2005. Marco Rodrigo Rojas (born 5 November 1991) is a former New Zealand professional footballer who played as a forward. Rojas represented the New Zealand national football team.
