Nathan Meikle
Nathan Lane Meikle (born 1981) is an American former football player, academic and sportscaster. He is an assistant professor at the University of Kansas School of Business. Meikle played college football for the BYU Cougars. Early life and education Meikle was born in 1981 Idaho Falls, Idaho to Gary Lane Meikle and Jean Bennett Meikle. He has five sisters and one brother. Meikle graduated summa cum laude from Snow College. He received a B.S. from the Marriot School of Business at BYU, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and got his Ph.D. from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Bronco Mendenhall
Marc Bronco Clay Mendenhall (born February 21, 1966) is an American football coach who most recently coached at The University of Virginia. He stepped down after the 2021 season. Mendenhall joined Virginia in 2015 after spending the previous eleven seasons as the head football coach at Brigham Young University, and resigned his position following the 2021 season. He has a career record of 135 victories and 81 losses, and has recorded fourteen postseason bowl game appearances with seven victories. Mendenhall is known for his unorthodox methods and "Earned Not Given" motto, even having players earn their jersey numbers each season. Anne LaBarr Duke (née Lederer; born September 13, 1965) is an American former professional poker player and author in cognitive-behavioral decision science and decision education. She holds a World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet from 2004 and used to be the leading money winner among women in WSOP history, and is still in the top four as of September 2021, despite being retired from poker, last cashing at a tournament 2010. Kellen Christopher Moore (born July 5, 1988) is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played six seasons in the NFL for the Cowboys and Detroit Lions. Moore played college football at Boise State, where he set the FBS record for quarterback wins. Signed by Detroit as an undrafted free agent in 2012, he was a member of the Lions and Cowboys for three seasons each. Jon Steven Young (born October 11, 1961) is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Prior to his NFL career, he was a member of the Los Angeles Express in the United States Football League (USFL) for two seasons. Oregon Ducks Football
The Oregon Ducks football program is a college football team for the University of Oregon, located in the U.S. state of Oregon. The team competes at the NCAA Division I level in the FBS and is a member of the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12). The 2006 Las Vegas Bowl was an NCAA-sanctioned Division I post-season college football bowl game between the Brigham Young University Cougars and the Oregon Ducks. The game was played on December 22, 2006, starting at 5 p.m. PST at 40,000-seat Sam Boyd Stadium in Whitney, Nevada, where the bowl has been played since 1992. It was televised on ESPN. The 2006 BYU Cougars football team represents Brigham Young University in the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Cougars won the Mountain West Conference (MWC) championship outright with an 11–2 record (8–0 in the MWC), their first unbeaten conference play since 2001. The Las Vegas Bowl is an NCAA Division I FBS annual post-season college football bowl game held in the Las Vegas area. First played in 1992, the bowl was originally held at the 40,000-seat Sam Boyd Stadium in Whitney, Nevada before moving to the 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada in 2021. The bowl is owned and operated by ESPN Events. Conference tie-ins As the Las Vegas Bowl was effectively the replacement for the California Bowl, it inherited that bowl's tie-ins with the champions of the Big West Conference and the Mid-American Conference. The California Golden Bears football program represents the University of California, Berkeley in college football as a member of the Pac-12 Conference at the NCAA Division I FBS level.
