Nathan Broome
Nathan Lee Broome (born 3 January 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bolton Wanderers. Broome spent time in the academies of Manchester City and Stoke City. He played on loan at Mickleover Sports and was capped by England up to under-18 level. He signed with AFC Wimbledon in January 2022. He played 13 games in the 2022–23 season and then joined Swansea City in August 2023. He was loaned out to Port Vale for the second half of the 2024–25 season. Career Stoke City Born in Warrington, Broome graduated from St Bede's College through Manchester City in 2018. He left the club's Academy to join the Academy of Stoke City on a free transfer. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons. Most commonly, young prospects will be loaned to a club in a lower league in order to gain invaluable first team experience. In this instance, the parent club may continue to pay the player's wages in full or in part. Martyn Margetson
Martyn Walter Margetson (born 8 September 1971) is a Welsh football coach and former professional footballer who is a goalkeeping coach for the Wales national team and Swansea City. A youth player at Manchester City, where he went on to appear over 50 times, he spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Luton Town before moving to Southend United on a permanent basis in 1998 where he remained for one season, joining Huddersfield Town in 1999. After signing for Cardiff City in 2002, he went on to win his first and only cap for Wales in a friendly with Canada in May 2004. He retired from playing at the end of the 2006–07 season, becoming a full-time goalkeeper coach at Cardiff City. Nikola Chivarov Tzanev (born 23 December 1996) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Newport County and the New Zealand national team. Tzanev is a product of the Brentford Academy and began his professional career with the club. William Albert Jääskeläinen (born 25 July 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Woking. Born in England, he has represented Finland at youth international level.
