Natalino (Chilean Band)
Natalino is a Chilean pop rock band formed in 1996, under the name of "La Pé". They started enjoying mainstream success until the release of the band's first major studio album "''Desde Que Te Vi''" in 2007, which gone gold status in 2008, and then platinum in 2009, selling over 15,000 copies in their country. Since the beginning of the group it has been formed by Cristián Natalino, Eduardo Manzi, and Hugo Manzi as members, creating and projecting a solid musical career in various markets. Although the initially started as "La Pé", Natalino became famous in 2008 for their debut "''Desde Que Te Vi''", which swept the national radio and placed it in the first four places top selling discs in Chile. They were performing at Festival de Viña del Mar 2009, in which they received ''Silver Torch'' and ''Golden Torch''. They also performed in stage the same day as Marc Anthony. Natalino Otto, stage name of Natale Codognotto (24 December 1912 – 4 October 1969) was an Italian singer. He started the swing genre in Italy. Biography Early years Natalino Otto was born at Cogoleto, province of Genoa, in northern Italy. His career as a singer and musician started in the clubs of his native region, Liguria. During the 1930s he worked as an entertainer on board transatlantic liners on the routes between Europe and North America, which gave him the opportunity to get to know American music genres, especially jazz and swing. In 1935, he was hired by an Italian-American radio station in New York. Back in Italy in 1937, Otto presented an innovative repertoire, strongly influenced by American music of that era. But he had to face Italian Fascist regime censorship, that banned anything foreign. He was forced to translate song titles and lyrics into Italian. Nicole Natalino
Nicole Monserrat Natalino Torres (born March 5, 1989) is a Chilean singer who is a current member of Chilean pop rock band Kudai (previously known as Ciao). She had left the group voluntarily in 2006, and in 2008 made a comeback with her solo music career, which lasted a few years. During her estrangement from music, she studied interior design. Natalino Sapegno (10 November 1901 - 11 April 1990) was a literary critic and Italian academician. He came to prominence as a leading scholar of fourteenth century Italian literature. Biography Provenance and early years Sapegno was born in Aosta, which was the (overwhelmingly French-speaking) city from where his mother's family came. He spent his first sixteen years growing up in Turin, where his father was employed as a senior official with the government tax office. In 1917, along with his older sister Giuliana, he was entrusted, for a year, to the care of his maternal grandparents in Aosta. Here, for a year, he completed his schooling at the prestigious "liceo classico Principe di Napoli" (secondary school) where the politician-historian Federico Chabod was among his contemporaries.
