Natalie Hershberger
Natalie Hershberger (born February 22, 2004) is an American taekwondo athlete and author of ''Kick it Fit with Natalie'' and ''Tough Girls Finish First''. Beginning in 2016, Hershberger wrote a regular column featured in the '' Tae Kwon Do Times'' known as "Kickchat with Nat", focused on taekwondo training. Hershberger began training in taekwondo at the age of five. She is a current USA Taekwondo National Team Member with the goal of representing the United States in the 2024 Summer Olympics. Taekwondo
''Taekwondo'', ''Tae Kwon Do'' or ''Taekwon-Do'' (; ko, 태권도/跆拳道 ) is a Korean form of martial arts involving punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The literal translation for tae kwon do is "kicking", "punching", and "the art or way of". They are a kind of martial arts in which one attacks or defends with hands and feet anytime or anywhere, with occasional use of weapons. The physical training undertaken in Taekwondo is purposeful and fosters strength of mind through mental armament. Taekwondo practitioners wear a uniform, known as a dobok. The AAU Junior Olympic Games'' are the pinnacle competitions held annually by the US Amateur Athletic Union. Overview The AAU Junior Olympic Games are known as the largest national multi-sport event for youth in the United States. It has become the showcase event of the AAU Sports Program.
