Andrea Natale is an Italian-born American cardiologist and electrophysiologist, i.e. a heart rhythm specialist. Natale is known for his work in atrial fibrillation ablation, and he is currently the executive director at the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute. Education Natale received his medical degree from the University of Florence Medical School, Florence, Italy and later underwent specialist training in Cardiology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. He then attended Methodist Hospital, Baylor College, Houston, Texas as a research fellow. Angelo Natale is a former trade union leader and candidate for political office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He served as leader of the Ontario Haulers' Association in the 1970s and 1980s, and campaigned in several municipal elections. Early career Natale was leader of the Ontario Haulers' Association during the 1970s and 1980s. He led an independent truckers' protest at Queen's Park in 1973, demanding better wages, and led an attempted boycott of Metro Toronto's snow clearing services in January 1974. In later years, the Haulers' Association would block off access to Queen's Park several times to protest against Ontario's trucking laws. Before becoming the head coach at Hartford, Natale was an assistant for the Boston Breakers, and an assistant at Hartford in 2000. Early life Natale's musical life began with listening to his sister playing classics and popular standards at the piano, followed by his own piano studies at age 8, adding accordion at 12 and guitar and percussion in his teens, when he began writing songs and singing and playing in local bands. He was the boss of the Philadelphia crime family from 1995 until 1999, when he became the first American Mafia boss to turn state's evidence.
