Nash Buckingham
Theophilus Nash Buckingham (May 31, 1880 – March 10, 1971), commonly referred to as Nash Buckingham, was an American author and conservationist from Tennessee. He wrote a collection of short stories entitled De Shootinest Gent'man. He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers, where he was captain and selected an All-Southern tackle in 1902. For many years after, Buckingham selected the All-Southern team for the ''Memphis Commercial Appeal''.e. g. He was nominated though not selected for an ''Associated Press'' All-Time Southeast 1869-1919 era team. Candelaria was born in Los Angeles to a Mexican American family, but his family can trace its lineage back to the first settlers of New Mexico and to the founders of Albuquerque. Nash Grose
Sir Nash Grose (1740-1814), was a British judge. Grose was the son of Edward Grose of London, and was born in 1740. He went to Cambridge University, became a fellow of Trinity Hall, and took the degree of LL.B. in 1768. He was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in November 1766, and became serjeant-at-law in 1774. For many years he enjoyed the best practice in the court of common pleas. On 9 February 1787 he was appointed a judge of the King's Bench, and was knighted. Alfred Nash Higgins (February 29, 1896 – October 29, 1984) was an American football and track and field coach as well as athletic director, the first in the history of the University of Tampa. He later worked as superintendent of recreation for the Hillsborough County Defense Council and the county's school department athletic facilities planner. Nash Charles Roberts Jr. (April 13, 1918 – December 18, 2010) was a New Orleans, Louisiana-based meteorologist widely known for the accuracy of his hurricane forecasts. Career He began his career in weather as an officer of the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for Admiral Chester Nimitz in the Pacific.
