Nascent (film)
''Nascent'', is a 2016 Central African documentary short film co-directed by Lindsay Branham and Jon Kasbe and produced by Lindsay Branham. The film based on the civil war in Central African Republic where two children, one Christian and one Muslim, comes together and find answers to the once divided peaceful nation along religious lines. The film made its premier in October 2016 in the United States. The film received positive reviews from critics and made many official selections at film festivals such as, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, 2016, Big Sky Film Festival, 2016 and Women Deliver 4th Global Conference, Copenhagen, 2016. In 2016 at the Mountainfilm Festival, the film won the Best Cinematography Award. Garry Stewart
Garry Stewart (born 1962) is an Australian dancer and choreographer. He was the longest-serving artistic director of the Australian Dance Theatre, taking over from Meryl Tankard in 1999 and finishing his term at the end of 2021. He is renowned for his unusual, post-modern interpretations of classical ballets. Early life and education Garry Stewart was born in 1962. After abandoning his university studies in social work when he was 20, Stewart studied first in Sydney at the Sydney City Ballet Academy (1983), and then at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne (1984–1985). Dance career He has danced with the Australian Dance Theatre (ADT), the Queensland Ballet, Expressions Dance Company and The One Extra Dance Company (Onex), and has performed in acting roles with the Sydney Theatre Company. Nascent Glacier
Lady Newnes Bay () is a bay about long in the western Ross Sea, extending along the coast of Victoria Land from Cape Sibbald to Coulman Island. Exploration and naming Lady Newnes Bay was discovered by the British Antarctic Expedition 1898–1900 (or Southern Cross Expedition) led by Carsten Borchgrevink. He named it for Lady Priscilla Newnes, whose husband, Sir George Newnes, financed the expedition. Geography The most westerly point of the bay is Cape Sibbald, where the tongue of the Aviator Glacier extends into the Ross Sea. Further east, past Andrus Point, the Parker Glacier enters the bay from the north. East of this, past Greene Point, the Oakley Glacier enters from the north, beside the Icebreaker Glacier and the Fitzgerald Glacier, which form a common tongue.
