Narrows is an American mathcore band based in Seattle, Washington, Seattle, but with members "spread out across both the United States and two continents." The band has been described as a supergroup (music), supergroup, as its lineup includes Dave Verellen of Botch (band), Botch and members of bands including Unbroken (band), Unbroken, These Arms Are Snakes and Bullet Union. Narrows is a part-time band. All members have full-time jobs and are starting their own families. Some Girls (California Band)
Some Girls was an American hardcore punk band consisting of a collective of musicians who came from different backgrounds and all who had established hardcore bands. History Formation and early releases (2002–2003) Some Girls began in early 2002 when singer Wesley Eisold and guitarist Rob Moran spoke of putting together a hardcore band that would “fuck people up.” The very next day, drummer Sal Gallegos was called in to assist Eisold and Moran and, within a few hours, the first Some Girls songs were created. After being impressed by the band's demos, Deathwish Inc offered to put out the band’s first 7-inch, ''The Rains'' after some remixing and remastering. After the release the band wanted to play live shows, however the band did not yet have a bass player. Retox is an American hardcore punk band that formed in 2011. The four-piece was founded by Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian, both of whom had previously performed together in The Locust, Holy Molar and Head Wound City. The two additional members are Thor Dickey and Michael Crain. Serbian was replaced by Brian Evans in 2013. Retox has since been signed to Ipecac Recordings and Epitaph Records and released three studio albums: ''Ugly Animals'' (2011), ''YPLL'' (2013) and ''Beneath California'' (2015). Heiress is an American band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2006. Their style blends influences from hardcore punk, heavy metal and post-rock. They signed to Deathwish Inc. in 2010, and released their debut album ''Early Frost'' in 2013. History Heiress was founded in Seattle, Washington in 2006 by guitarist Wes Reed. Reed originally planned being the only member of Heiress with different people contributing vocals. However, Reed recruited Adam Paysse, the co-founder of Rome Plow Records, who both found drummer Julian Zurdo and bassist Eric Severson, and recorded a demo with producer Ben Verellen ( Harkonen, Helms Alee). In December 2008, John Pettibone, formerly of many Seattle-area bands including Himsa and Undertow, took over Paysse's place as lead vocalist.
