Naresh Prasad Singh (born 1963) is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He is an MLA from Bishrampur Assembly constituency in Palamu District. He won the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election, representing the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Early life and education Singh is from Bishrampur, Palamu District, Jharkhand. He is the son of Doman Singh. He passed Class 12 in 1978 at G. L. A. College, Daltonganj, Palamu. Career Singh won from Bishrampur Assembly constituency representing Rashtriya Janata Dal in the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election. He polled votes and defeated his nearest rival, Ramchandra Chandravanshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party, by a margin of 14,587 votes. Palamu district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand, India. It was formed in 1892. The 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election was held in three phases from 2024 elections in India, 13 to 20 November 2024 to elect all 81 members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Bishrampur is a census town in the Khelari CD block in the Ranchi Sadar subdivision of the Ranchi district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Geography Location Bishrampur is located at . Medininagar, formerly Daltonganj, is a city and municipal corporation in Palamu district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is also the administrative headquarter of Palamu district and divisional headquarters of Palamu division, as well as the subdivision and block of the same name.
