Narelda Jacobs OAM is an Australian journalist, newsreader, and television presenter. Her career with Network 10 began in Perth, Western Australia, in 2000. In January 2020, she moved to Sydney to co-host ''Studio 10'', and also and present ''10 News First'' Perth. , Jacobs presents the national news bulletin ''10 News First: Midday'', as well as ''10 News First: Afternoons''. She also works with NITV, as a co-host of the weekly program ''The Point'', as well as appearing on various ABC Television. She has also had roles in drama series. She is an Aboriginal, and lesbian, newsreader in Western Australia. Early life and education Narelda Jacobs, of Whadjuk Noongar heritage, was raised in Perth. Born-again
To be born again, or to experience the new birth, is a phrase, particularly in evangelical Christianity, that refers to a "spiritual rebirth", or a regeneration of the human spirit. In contrast to one's physical birth, being "born again" is distinctly and separately caused by the operation of the Holy Spirit, and it occurs when one is baptized in water (John 3:5, Titus 3:5). Bunbury, Western Australia
Bunbury () is a coastal city in the Australian state of Western Australia, approximately south of the state capital, Perth. It is the state's third most populous city after Perth and Mandurah, with a population of approximately 75,000. The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a performing arts school in Perth, Western Australia. Established in 1980, it is notable for being the most comprehensive performing arts school in Australia by disciplines of study and has produced some of Australia's most prominent graduates in the field. It is scheduled to re-locate to the currently under-construction Perth CBD campus following completion in late 2025. Hampton Senior High School is an Independent public co-educational high day school, located in the Perth suburb of Morley, Western Australia. History In August 1965, the Department of Education announced that a school would open in Hampton in 1966 to reduce overcrowding at Governor Stirling, Cyril Jackson and John Forrest Senior High Schools. Hampton Senior High School opened in February 1966, but the school had not been completed yet. Two classrooms at Middle Swan Primary School and five at Midland Technical School were used by the school for the first term of 1966. National Aboriginal Conference
The National Aboriginal Conference (NAC) was a national organisation established by the Australian Government to represent Indigenous Australians, that is Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The NAC was originally established as the National Aboriginal Consultative Committee (NACC) in 1973 by the Whitlam government with a principal function to advise the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and the Minister on issues of concern to Indigenous peoples. Its members were elected by Indigenous people.
