"Narco" is a song by Dutch DJ/production duo Blasterjaxx and Australian DJ/producer Timmy Trumpet, released as a single in 2017. The song became widely popular for being the Music at sporting events#Entrance music, walk-out song for Edwin Díaz of the New York Mets in Major League Baseball. and as one of the Baseball cheering culture in South Korea, cheer songs for the Kia Tigers in KBO League. Composition and recording "Narco" was written and recorded by Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet. The first portions of what would become "Narco" were created by Blasterjaxx members Idir Makhlaf and Thom Jongkind, who sought to create a song that would be mainstay on the dance floor. The duo soon created a synthetic drum beat that would remain in the introduction of the finished song and wrote a melody to go on top of it that Jongkind likened to an "Arabian flute". Blasterjaxx is a Dutch DJ and record production duo composed of Thom Jongkind (born 1990) and Idir Makhlaf (born 1991), originated in The Hague and active since 2010. They are mostly known for producing big room house and electro house music, being more active in the first genre. History In 2010, Thom Jongkind, known professionally as Scalix, formed a duo called Blasterjaxx with producer Leon Vielvoije, who left soon after joining.
