Narbir Singh
Rao Narbir Singh is a politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is an active social and political reformer. He was Cabinet Minister (2014–19) in Government of Haryana for Department of Public Works (B&R) and Department of Public Health Engineering (Water Supply and Sanitation), Haryana. He won as BJP candidate from Badshahpur Assembly constituency during the 2014 Haryana Legislative Assembly election. Early life Singh was born in Gurgaon on 2 April 1961. He is a grandson of Mohar Singh Yadav who was an M.L.C. in Punjab state before partition of India and Pakistan in 1942. His father Mahavir Singh Yadav was also a former cabinet Minister in the State of Haryana. Nayab Singh Saini
Nayab Singh Saini (born 25 January 1970) is an Indian politician serving as the Chief Minister of Haryana since March 2024. Previously, he was president of Haryana state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party from 2023 till 2024. Saini is a notable Bharatiya Janata Party leader in Haryana. In 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election, Saini won from Ladwa Assembly constituency of Kurukshetra district and also led the BJP party to secure a third term victory in the state. Earlier, Saini served as the Member of parliament (M.P.) from Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency, Haryana, from 2019 to 2024. Lok Dal
Lokdal or Lok Dal is an Indian political party based on agriculture policies, founded by former Prime Minister Charan Singh. It was founded on 26 September 1979 by merging Janata Party (Secular), Socialist Party (Limaye) and Orissa Janata Party. Charan Singh was elected president of Lok Dal and Raj Narain, its working president. In August 1982, major split occurred in Lok Dal, with one faction of Charan Singh and another consisted of Karpoori Thakur, Madhu Limaye, Biju Patnaik, Devi Lal, George Fernandes, Kumbha Ram Arya. 2009 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India in five phases between 16 April 2009 and 13 May 2009 to elect the members of the fifteenth Lok Sabha. With a registered electorate of 716 million and a turnout of 417 million voters, it was the largest democratic election in the world until being surpassed by the 2014 general election. By constitutional requirement, elections to the Lok Sabha must be held every five years or when Parliament is dissolved by the president. Gurgaon Lok Sabha Constituency
Gurgaon is one of the 10 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Haryana state in northern India. This constituency was in existence from 1952-77.
