Naran Naran
The Naran, also known as the Naran Hyper Coupe, is a bespoke 2+2 sports car manufactured by U.K.-based automobile manufacturer Naran Automotive. Unveiled to the public in the late November 2020, it is the first car, and the first one-off limited edition model built by the brand. Specifications The Naran is powered by a bespoke 5-liter twin-turbo V8, made by German firm Racing Dynamics making 1,048 PS (1,034 HP) and 1,036 nm (764 ft-lb) of torque. The engine of the Naran is placed in a front-mid placement, allowing for balanced weight distribution, allowing for the powertrain to switch from 4-wheel drive to rear-wheel drive. All this allows the Naran to go from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds, 0-100 mph in 4.5 seconds, and 0-200 mph in 16.5 seconds, with a top speed of more than 230 mph. A front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout (FR), also called Système Panhard is a powertrain layout with an engine in front and rear-wheel-drive, connected via a drive shaft. ZF 8HP Transmission
8HP is ZF Friedrichshafen AG's trademark name for its 8-speed automatic transmission models with hydraulic converter and planetary gearsets for longitudinal engine applications. Designed and first built by ZF's subsidiary in Saarbrücken, Germany, it debuted in 2008 on the BMW 7 Series (F01) 760Li sedan fitted with the V12 engine. BMW N63
The BMW N63 is a twin-turbocharged petrol V8 engine which has been in production from 2008 to present. The N63 is the world's first production car engine to use a "hot-vee" layout, with the turbochargers located inside the "V" of the engine. It is also BMW's first turbocharged petrol V8 engine. S-segment cars are a European car segment class for ''sports coupés''. The equivalent Euro NCAP class is called "roadster sport". The De Tomaso P72 is a sports car manufactured by the Italian automobile manufacturer De Tomaso. Based on the underpinnings of the Apollo Intensa Emozione, the P72 is designed as an homage to the De Tomaso Sport 5000, De Tomaso P70 prototype racing car. Development history The De Tomaso brand was acquired by Hong Kong–based Ideal Ventures in 2014, the same company who had acquired German automobile manufacturer Apollo Automobil, Gumpert. Under the new management, work was started to revive the brand after a failed attempt in 2009.
