Nar Bahadur Saud
Nar Bahadur Saud () (born 16 February,1963) is an agriculturist and Madan Puraskar–winning writer. Saud is paralyzed from the waist down because of a road accident. Wheel-chair bound, he worked on a book for ten years. The book was published in 2009 and won the Madan Puraskar for the same year. He graduated in agriculture from Palampur in India and started work as an officer in the National Agriculture Research Council. Before the accident, he was working as a Technical Officer of Dairy Development Corporation. Biography He was born as the first child of mother Dharma Devi Saud and father Dhan Bahadur Saud on 16 February 1963 (4 Falgun 2019 BS) in the rural Baitadi district of Nepal. Baitadi District ( ), historical name “Bairath” (बैराथ), a part of Sudurpashchim Province, is one of the 77 districts of Nepal. It is a Hill district. Narayan Prasad Rajbhandari (; 21 July 1931 – 16 October 2023), professionally known as Chittaranjan Nepali, was a Nepalese writer and historian. He received the first ever Madan Puraskar for '' Janaral Bhimsen Thapa Ra Tatkalin Nepal'', a biographical book on the life of prime minister Bhimsen Thapa. He wrote in Nepali as well as Nepalbhasa. Dairy Development Corporation () or commonly known as DDC is a public enterprise owned by the Nepal Government which collects milk, produce dairy products and supplies to the customers. The corporation was established in 1969. The main aim of DDC is to guarantee market and fair price to the milk producers and supply hygienic milk and milk products to urban centres.
