Nandi Madida
Nandi Madida (née Mngoma; born 20 March 1988) is a South African singer, actress, model and television presenter. Born and raised in Maphumulo, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, She rose to stardom after she was featured by DJ Franky as a vocalist on single "Tonight", which was released (2012). Having signed with Universal Music Group in 2011, Madida released her self-titled debut studio album ''Nandi'' (2012). Life and career Madida was born in Maphumulo and was raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She went to Danville Park Girls High School, after finishing her matric she went to study law at UKZN and later to Varsity College, even though her initial plan was to pursue journalism. Madida has been a dancer and model since childhood. She won the Miss Junior RSA title when she was eight. Maphumulo is a town in Ilembe District Municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Settlement some 42 km north-west of Stanger and 38 km south-east of Kranskop. Gateway Theatre of Shopping (also known simply as Gateway) is a large shopping mall located on uMhlanga Ridge in uMhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Gateway is one of the 100 largest malls in the world. The mall sees more than two million visitors coming through its doors per month. The centre was modelled on the Mall of America and West Edmonton Mall centres and was developed by Old Mutual Properties. South Africa Music Awards
The South African Music Awards (often simply the SAMAs) are the Recording Industry of South Africa's music industry awards, established in 1995. The ceremony is held annually, usually in late April or May, with the judging process starting in November of the previous year. The nominations are typically announced at the end of March. The winners receive a gold-plated statuette called a SAMA. SABC 2 is a South African free-to-air television channel owned by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).
