Namibia First Division
The First Division is the second-tier association football league in Namibia. It operates under the auspices of the Namibia Football Association. Organization The First Division is divided into the Northern Stream (NSFD) and the Southern Stream (SSFD), each consisting of 13 teams from their respective regions. For some seasons the Northern Stream has been divided into separate North East and North West streams. The Northern Stream includes clubs from the Caprivi, Kavango, Oshana, Omusati, Kunene, Otjozondjupa, Ohangwena, and Oshikoto regions. The Southern Stream includes clubs located in Khomas, Omaheke, Erongo, Hardap, and Karas regions. Promotion and relegation The winners of both the Northern and Southern Streams are promoted to the Namibia Premier Football League. Namibia
Namibia (, ), officially the Republic of Namibia, is a country in Southern Africa. Its western border is the Atlantic Ocean. Hardap
Hardap is one of the fourteen regions of Namibia, its capital is Mariental. Hardap contains the municipality of Mariental, the towns Rehoboth and Aranos, and the self-governed villages Gibeon, Gochas, Kalkrand, Stampriet and Maltahöhe. It is home to the Hardap Dam. Hardap stretches the entire width of Namibia, from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to Namibia's eastern national border. In the northeast, it borders the Kgalagadi District of Botswana, and in the southeast, it borders the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. Chief Santos is a football club in Tsumeb, Namibia. The club was formerly part of the Namibia Premier League, but was relegated to the second league in 2005. The club has been promoted back to the Premier League under the management of Mohammed Ouseb, in 2008. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. History This enterprise, according to its founders, was created in January 1994 by three regulars of the Rec.Sport.Soccer (RSS) Usenet newsgroup: Lars Aarhus, Kent Hedlundh, and Karel Stokkermans.
