Nalin Prabhat
Nalin Prabhat (born 14 March 1968) is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of the 1992 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre and he served as the Director General of the National Security Guard from 1 May 2024 till 15 August 2024. Thereafter, he was transferred to AGMUT cadre to be appointed as Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police and took the charge on 1 October 2024. Early life and education Nalin Prabhat was born in 1968 Thungri Villages of Manali. He completed his graduated in B.A (Honours) and M.A from St. Stephen's College.
