Nakul Singh Sawhney is an Indian documentary filmmaker. He grew up in Delhi and attended Kirori Mal College in Delhi University. He was as active member of Players, the dramatic society of the college. He then completed a course in direction at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, during 2005–06. Nakul was also actively involved with Jana Natya Manch. He is married to award-winning journalist Neha Dixit He is currently making a film on the 2020-2021 farmers' protest, the largest and the longest protest in modern world history. Film And Television Institute Of India
The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) is a film institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India and aided by the Central Government of India. Satyapal Dang
Satyapal Dang (1920–2013) was an Indian independence activist, writer and later-day politician from Punjab. He was a legislator of Punjab State Legislative Assembly, representing the Communist Party of India for four terms and a Minister of Food and Civil Supplies in the United Front ministry led by Justice Gurnam Singh. He was also involved in trade union movement in India, aligning with the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC). Vimla Dang (1926–2009) was an Indian social worker and politician, known for propounding the ''Dang school of Politics'', reportedly a stream of politics adhering to the values of integrity and honesty. She was a leader of the Communist Party of India and a Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly representing Amritsar West constituency. Jana Natya Manch (People's Theatre Front; Janam for short) is a New Delhi-based amateur Theatre of India, theatre company specialising in left-wing street theatre in Hindi.
