Prince Nakkhatra Mangala, 2nd Prince of Chanthaburi (; ; 4 January 1898 – 11 February 1953), His Highness Prince Nakkhatra Mangala his birth name is His Serene Highness (Momchao) Prince Nakkhatra Mangala Kitiyakara he was the eldest son of Prince Kitiyakara Voralaksana, 1st Prince of Chanthaburi and Princess Apsarasaman Kitiyakara. He was the father of Queen Sirikit, father in-law of late Thai king King Bhumibol Adulyadej and maternal grandfather of the current king King Vajiralongkorn. Bua Kitiyakara
'' Mom Luang'' Bua Kitiyakara (; ; 25 November 1909 – 19 September 1999), née '' Mom Luang'' Bua Snidvongs (; ), stage-named Prathum Chitchuea (), was a Thai actress. She was the wife of Prince Nakkhatra Mangala, the mother of Queen Sirikit, and the maternal grandmother of King Vajiralongkorn. Life ''Mom Luang'' Bua (lit. 1st Infantry Regiment (Thailand)
The 1st King Close Bodyguard Regiment, King Close Bodyguard () (กรม ทม.ที่ 1 มหด.รอ.) is a King's Guard (Thailand), King's Guard regiment under the Royal Security Command. The regiment is divided into three battalions, all of them based in Bangkok. The regiment is the only unit of the Royal Thai Armed Forces with the designation ''Mahat Lek Rajawallop'' (); meaning the king's close bodyguards, translated as the ''King's Own Bodyguards''. The unit was first established by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in 1859, whilst he was still a young prince. One of the primary roles of the regiment is to provide security and protection to members of the Chakri dynasty, Thai royal family as well as the ceremonial escort and guarding of the royal palaces. The Privy Council of Thailand () is a body of appointed advisors to the Monarchy of Thailand. The council, as the Constitution of Thailand stipulates, must be composed of no more than eighteen members. Sirikit Kitiyakara
Sirikit (born ''Mom Rajawongse'' Sirikit Kitiyakara; 12 August 1932) is a member of the Thai royal family who was Queen of Thailand from 28 April 1950 to 13 October 2016 as the wife of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). She is the mother of King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X). She met Bhumibol in Paris, where her father was Thai ambassador. They married in 1950, shortly before Bhumibol's coronation. Sirikit was appointed queen regent in 1956, when the king entered the Buddhist monkhood for a period of time. Sirikit has four children with the king. The Court of St James's serves as the official royal court for the Sovereign of the United Kingdom. The court formally receives all ambassadors accredited to the United Kingdom.
