Nakhu Jail
Nakhu Jail (Nepali:नख्खु कारागार, Nakhu Karagar) was established in 2007 BS in the existing, money printing area (Taksar department) in Lalitpur District, Nepal. The facility has an area of 35 ropanies and 12 ana (about 1.8 hectares). There is a road in the eastern part of the jail, a school in the west, residential area in the north and Nakhu river in the south. There are two separate blocks for males and females in the Jail. Each block has a capacity to accommodate 250 inmates. There are plans to upgrade it with a capacity to accommodate 1,000 inmates in 2077 BS. There is also a Community Rehabilitation Center and a Drug Rehabilitation Center inside the jail. Lalitpur District, Nepal
Lalitpur District ( ne, ललितपुर जिल्ला, a part of Bagmati Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Lalitpur as its district headquarters, covers an area of and has a population (2001) of 337,785. It is one of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley, along with Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. Its population was 466,784 in the initial 2011 census tabulation. It is surrounded by Makwanpur, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu and Kavre. Mohammad Aftab Alam
Mohammad Aftab Alam ( ne, मोहम्मद अफताब आलम ) is a Nepali politician from the Nepali Congress and a suspended member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He was a member of the first constituent assembly as well. He is also a former Minister for Labour and Transport Management. Career Alam was elected from Rautahat-2 to the Pratinidhi Sabha in the 1999 election and the 2008 Constituent Assembly election but was defeated in the 2013 election from the same constituency. Alam was elected to parliament in the 2017 legislative election from Rautahat Rautahat is a village development committee in Saptari District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. KP Sharma Oli
Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli ( ne, खड्गप्रसाद शर्मा ओली, ; born 22 February 1952) is a Nepalese politician and former Prime Minister of Nepal. He served three terms as prime minister from 11 October 2015 to 3 August 2016, from 15 February 2018 to 13 May 2021 as the first elected prime minister under the new constitution, and from 13 May 2021 to 13 July 2021. Oli is noted for taking a more hardline stance with regard to the Indian government during and in the aftermath of the 2015 Nepal blockade. He strengthened relations with China as an alternative to Nepal's traditional close trade ties with India and updated the map of Nepal by constitutional amendment including territories disputed with India, for which he has received some domestic praise and a reputation as a nationalist. Padma Ratna Tuladhar
Padma Ratna Tuladhar ( ne, पद्मरत्न तुलाधर) (1940–2018) was a Nepalese politician and human rights activist. A resident of Kathmandu, he played an instrumental role in bringing the Nepali Maoists to mainstream politics from armed struggle. He was elected to the Rastriya Panchayat from Kathmandu in the 1986 election. Following the restoration of multi party democracy he was elected to the Pratinidhi Sabha from Kathmandu 4 in 1991. He served in the cabinet of Prime Minister Man Mohan Adhikari as Minister for Labour and Health. Tuladhar died at Kathmandu on 4 November 2018 due to a brain hemorrhage.
