Najiehe Railway Bridge
The Najiehe Railway Bridge is a steel arch bridge in central Guizhou, China. With a rail height of , this is the second highest railway bridge in world. The truss arch is also one of the longest arch bridges with a main span of . The bridge crosses the Sancha River between Zhijin in Bijie and Qingzhen in Guiyang. The bridge is part of the new Lindai-Zhijin Railway line between Zhijin County and Guiyang. The bridge crosses over the reservoir created by the Dongfeng Dam. Although the Najiehe Railway Bridge is officially 310 metres high, the drop to the water is only 285 meters when the reservoir is at full water level. Sancha River
The Wu River () is the largest southern tributary of the Yangtze River. Nearly its entire length of runs within the isolated, mountainous and ethnically diverse province of Guizhou. The river takes drainage from a watershed. The river flows through the Liupanshui, Anshun, Guiyang (the capital), Qiannan, and Zunyi Districts of Guizhou. All nine regions of the province have at least partial drainage to the river. Course The river begins as the ''Sancha'' in western Guizhou and flows eastwards about . It then bends north, west and south in a reach called the Yachi, and receives the Nanming River from the right. Zhijin County is a county under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Bijie in west-central Guizhou province, China. History Zhijin has been inhabited since the Qin, populated mainly by the Gelao. After the Jin, the Yi moved in. During the Kangxi Era of the Qing, a city was founded named Pingyuan. In 1914, it was renamed Zhijin after one of its streets. Bijie
Bijie ( zh, s=毕节, t=畢節, p=Bìjíe) is a prefecture-level city in northwestern Guizhou Province, China, bordering Sichuan to the north and Yunnan to the west. The Daotianhe Reservoir, located to the north of the town was commissioned in 1965 with a rated annual capacity of 6.5 million cubic meters. On 10 November 2011, the former Bijie Prefecture () was converted to a prefecture-level city, and the former county-level city of Bijie was rechristened Qixingguan District. Guiyang
