Nahariah Hussein
SAC Dato' Nahariah binti Hussein (born 1958-16 March 2015), is a former Commandant of Police Training Center ( PULAPOL). She made history when she became the first woman to be appointed Commander of PULAPOL after 110 years of the institution being established. Previously, the 41 Pulapol commanders in Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur were men. The 41st Pulapol Commander is SAC Zulkifli Mohamad. Nahariah previously served as Assistant Director of Administration (D1) of Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department before she replaced SAC Zulkifli Mohamad for the Pulapol Commander post in 2014. PULAPOL
The Malaysian Police Training Centre ( ms, Pusat Latihan Polis, Pulapol) is the oldest police academy in Malaysia and the training institute for Royal Malaysia Police. It is located at Semarak Street (formerly Henry Gurney Street), Kuala Lumpur. It is the place where the police is trained under the government. Learning in Pulapol encompasses training aspect, from academic or practical. Pulapol has seven branches: Pulapol Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur, Pulapol Bukit Sentosa, Rawang, Pulapol Air Hitam, Negeri Sembilan, Pulapol Segamat, Johor, Pulapol Langkawi, Kedah, Pulapol Dungun, Terengganu, Pulapol Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Pulapol Kuching, Sarawak. The Most Esteemed Order of Loyalty to the Crown of Malaysia ( ms, Darjah Yang Mulia Setia Mahkota Malaysia) is a Malaysian federal award presented for meritorious service to the country and awarded by the sovereign. The order was instituted on 15 April 1966 and gazetted on 30 June 1966. The order has three ranks. The award recipient receives the title '' Tun'' and his wife ''Toh Puan''. The number of awards conferred is limited to 25 living recipients only at any time.
