Nagwan Al-Guneid
Nagwan Al-Guneid (born 1984/1985) is a Canadian politician from the Alberta New Democratic Party. Education Al-Guneid graduated from the University of Calgary with an undergraduate degree in communications and a master's degree in sustainable development. Career She has spent much of her career working in the energy industry sector, like many Albertans starting in the oil and gas sector. Immediately prior to her election, Al-Guneid served as the director of the Business Renewables Centre Canada. Al-Guneid was also appointed to the City of Calgary's biodiversity advisory committee by Calgary City Council, where she counselled the government between 2016 and 2019. In 2022, Calgary's Avenue magazine named her part of their Top 40 Under 40 2022.
