Nagarkot
Nagarkot () is a former village development committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal, in Bhaktapur District in Bagmati Province and as of 2015 part of Nagarkot Municipality. At the time of the 2011 census it had a population of 4,571 and had 973 houses in it. At an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot also offers views of the Kathmandu Valley. The scenery of the place makes it a popular hiking route for tourists. It is located approximately 7000 ft (2000 m) above sea level and 28 km from Kathmandu International Airport. Nagarkot commands one of the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley (8 out of 13 Himalayan ranges of Nepal are visible). Changunarayan
Changunarayan () is a municipality in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati province of Nepal and is part of the urban agglomeration of the Kathmandu Valley. The municipality was created through the merger of the former Village development committees: Old-Changunarayan, Chhaling, Duwakot, and Jhaukhel in 2014. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, the predecessors of Changunarayan Municipality had a population of 55,430. In 2017, the municipality of Mahamanjushree Nagarkot was merged into Changunarayan. Bhaktapur District ( ; ) located in the eastern part of Kathmandu valley, is the smallest among seventy-seven districts of Nepal. It is part of Bagmati Province. A village development committee (; ''gāum̐ vikās samiti'') in Nepal was the lower administrative part of its Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development. Each district had several VDCs, similar to municipalities but with greater public-government interaction and administration. There were 3,157 village development committees in Nepal. Annapurna
Annapurna (; ) is a mountain situated in the Annapurna mountain range of Gandaki Province, north-central Nepal. It is the 10th highest mountain in the world at above sea level and is well known for the difficulty and danger involved in its ascent. Shivapuri National Park
Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is the ninth national park in Nepal and was established in 2002. It is located in the country's mid-hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivapuri Peak at altitude. It covers an area of in the districts of Kathmandu, Nuwakot and Sindhupalchowk, adjoining 23 Village Development Committees. In the west, the protected area extends to the Dhading District. Numbur
Numbur is a glaciated mountain located in the Rolwaling Himal mountain range of Nepal. The high Numbur is located at 43 km southwest of Mount Everest, on the border of the Janakpur and Sagarmatha zone Sagarmāthā Zone (, ''"Sagarmāthā Anchal"'') was one of the fourteen zones of Nepal until the restructuring of zones into provinces. Rolwaling
Rolwāling Valley (), known as a (Gaurishankar) rural municipality, is a section of the Himalayas in east-central Nepal along the Tibet border. Rolwaling Himal includes Melungtse 7181m and Melungtse II 7023m inside Tibet and Gaurishankar 7134m on the Nepal border with some 50 additional peaks over 6000m, all extending from the Nangpa La pass where the Mahalangur section begins, southwest to the Tamakosi River. The Labuche Himal section rises beyond the Tamakosi to the northwest. Rolwaling Himal is bounded on the south by the Rolwaling Valley which contain several small sherpa villages Tasi Nam, Simigau and Beding under rolwaling valley, Tasi Nam is the largest town of the area.
