Nadodigal
''Naadodigal'' () is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Samuthirakani and produced by S. Michael Rayappan under banner of Global Infotainment. The film stars Sasikumar along with Vijay Vasanth and Bharani, while Ananya and Abhinaya made their debut in Tamil and Malaysia-based ''Shanthini Deva'' enacting the lead female roles and Ganja Karuppu playing a pivotal role, providing comical relief. The plot focuses on a trio who attempt to unite their friend with his lover against the wishes of all families involved, and at heavy cost to themselves, only to realize that the lovers separate after a short while. Cinematography was handled by S. R. Kathir, songs composed and score by Sundar C Babu, editing done by A. L. Abhinaya (actress)
Abhinaya is an Indian actress and model who mainly works in Tamil and Telugu films. She is both hearing and speech impaired. She made her acting debut in '' Naadodigal'' (2009) and then she has appeared in many Tamil and Telugu films. Career Abhinaya was spotted by director Samuthirakani from an ad agency's portfolio while he was on the lookout for a fresh face for his movie '' Nadodigal''. ''Naadodigal 2'' () is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Samuthirakani and produced by S Nandagopal under the banner of Madras Enterprises. It stars Sasikumar and Anjali. The film released on 31 January 2020. The film is a namesake sequel to the highly successful 2009 film '' Nadodigal''. Plot Jeeva, Sengodi, Paandi, and a few others work towards social reforms in their casteism dominated town near Madurai. Ayilya Gopalakrishnan , better known by her stage name Ananya, is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. She is also a singer and an archer. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film ''Positive'' (2008) and also debuted the following year in the Tamil film ''Naadodigal'', which turned out to be a critical and commercial success. ''Sindhu Samaveli'' () is a 2010 Tamil-language independent erotic thriller film written and directed by Samy. The film stars debutants Harish Kalyan, Amala Paul, and Ghajini. Samuthirakani
Samuthirakani (born 26 April 1973) is an Indian actor and film director who predominantly works in Tamil films and Telugu films besides appearing in a number of Malayalam films. He worked as an assistant to director K Balachander. He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2016 for ''Visaranai''. Early life Samuthirakani was born on 26 April 1973 in Seithur, Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu. He did his B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Rajapalayam Rajus College and he also earned a Bachelor of Law from Ambedkar Law College. However, he aimed to become an actor.
