Nadia Heng
Nadia Heng Min Dern (; born 16 June 1985) is a Malaysian beauty pageant titleholder and model who won Miss World Malaysia 2010 and represented Malaysia at Miss World 2010 on 30 October in China. Early life Heng was born in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, to a Chinese father and English mother. She has a fraternal twin sister Natalie who was born a minute before her. Her father used to work in Port Dickson's hotel industry before his retirement and her mother is an administrator at a nursing home in England. Heng has appeared in more than 20 TV commercials and print advertisements, among them jobs for Spritzer and Gintell. Personal life Heng graduated with a degree in communications from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2006 and used to work as a public relations manager. Xing (Chinese: 邢) is a Chinese surname. There are two hypothesized sources for the extant catalogue of surnames: 1. According to the '' Yuanhe Xing Zuan'', Xing is originated from Ji ( 姬), the royal family of Zhou dynasty in China. The fourth son of the Duke of Zhou, was appointed the ruler of the State of Xing (now Xingtai city of Hebei Province). Metropolitan TV Sdn Bhd, operating as 8TV (), is a Malaysian Chinese-language free-to-air television network focused on the Chinese community of Malaysia. It is owned and operated by Media Prima. The channel formerly existed as MetroVision from 1 July 1995 until 1 November 1999 and was relaunched as 8TV on 8 January 2004.
