Woerden
Woerden () is a city and a municipality in central Netherlands. Due to its central location between Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht, and the fact that it has rail and road connections to those cities, it is a popular town for commuters who work in those cities. History The river Oude Rijn used to flow through the city center of Woerden, but in 1960 the old river was diverted around the city center. The city has a long and rich history in cheese making and trading; for years Gouda cheese for domestic and international use has been produced in this region. Woerden still holds its authentic (since 1885) cheese market at the market place in its center. Roman castellum Woerden is situated on the river Oude Rijn, near the confluence with the former stream. Christian Heule
Christian Heule (born 2 April 1975 in Sankt Gallen) is a Swiss professional racing cyclist. His sporting career began with VC Uznach. He began his professional career in 1998 with the Ericsson Villiger cycling team. After two years he joined the Post Swiss Team and after a further two years he switched to Team Cologne. In 2003 he went to Macandina Kewa-wheel-VC Gippingen where he won a road stage of the Tour of Slovenia. Between 2005 and 2007, Heule rode for the German Stevens Racing team. In 2008, he became the leader of the Belgian Rendementhypo Cycling Team. Mike Teunissen (born 25 August 1992) is a Dutch racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career He rode at the 2013 UCI Road World Championships, and was the winner of the World Under-23 Cyclo-cross Championships in 2013. He was named in the start list for the 2015 Vuelta a España. In June 2017, he was named in the startlist for the 2017 Tour de France. In 2019, he had a top 10 finish in Paris-Roubaix. He was named to the start list of the 2019 Tour de France, where he was intended to be a leadout man for Dylan Groenewegen. Late in stage one as the sprint trains were coming together there was a crash, which eliminated Groenewegen's chances and ruined the team's plans of getting the stage win and yellow jersey.
