Politics in reorganised present-day Punjab is dominated by mainly three parties – Indian National Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal). The Punjab Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Punjab, India, Punjab state in North India. The seat of the Legislative Assembly is at Chandigarh, the capital of the state.
