Na. Muthukumar
Nagarajan Muthukumar (12 July 1975 – 14 August 2016) was an Indian poet, lyricist, and author who predominantly worked in Tamil language film songs. He was known for his frequent collaborations with composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and G. V. Prakash Kumar. Muthukumar received the most Filmfare Awards for Best Lyricist in Tamil and was a two-time recipient of the National Film Award for Best Lyrics for his works in '' Thanga Meenkal'' (2013) and '' Saivam'' (2014). He won two National Film Awards, four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, and four Filmfare Awards South. Early life Muthukumar grew up in Kannikapuram village in Kancheepuram, India in a middle-class family. He has a brother Ramesh Kumar. At the age of four, he lost his mother. Senthamizhan Seeman () (born 8 November 1966) is an Indian politician, actor and former filmmaker. He is the leader and chief-coordinator of the Naam Tamilar Katchi political party in Tamil Nadu. He is a strong advocate for regional autonomy and Tamil nationalism by focusing on the Tamil language, identity, and culture. Seeman began his career as a filmmaker in the mid-1990s, working on films such as '' Panchalankurichi'' (1996) and '' Veeranadai'' (2000). The failure of his early films made it difficult for him to attract offers as a director and several of his proposed projects were stalled in the late 1990s. He later made a comeback through the successful vigilante film '' Thambi'' (2006), though the commercial failure of his next film, prompted Seeman to prioritise commitments as a supporting actor in the late 2000s. ''Iraniyan'' () is a 1999 Indian Tamil language film directed by Vincent Selva. The film stars Murali and Meena, while Raghuvaran, Vadivelu and Ranjith play other supporting roles. A fictionalised biography of the Indian freedom fighter Vattakudi Iraniyan, it was released on 18 November 1999. Raghuvaran won the Dinakaran Cinema Award for Best Villain. Plot Vattakudi Iraniyan is a home-coming military man who becomes a rebel after witnessing caste discrimination and brutal killings by a landlord over lower caste people.
