NWA Hard Times (2024)
The 2024 Hard Times (also known as Hard Times 4) was the fourth NWA Hard Times, Hard Times professional wrestling event promoted by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). It took place on March 2, 2024, at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama. The event was initially announced as a pay-per-view, but was instead used as a TV taping for NWA's flagship show ''NWA Powerrr'', mapped into five episodes that aired on The CW app. Sixteen matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Ethan Carter III, EC3 defeated "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason to retain the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is an American professional wrestling professional wrestling promotion, promotion and governing body owned by Billy Corgan and operated by its parent company Lightning One, Inc. Founded in 1948, the NWA began as the governing body for a group of regional promotions, the heads of which made up the board of directors. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy", "good-doer", or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans. They are portrayed as heroes relative to the heel wrestlers, who are analogous to villains. Traditionally, face characters wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. Madison Hardin (born August 31, 2000), better known by the ring name Ella Envy, is an American professional wrestler. She performed for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where she was a four-time NWA World Women's Tag Team Champion and a former member of Pretty Empowered. Pretty Empowered is a professional wrestling stable currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) consisting of sisters Kenzie Paige and Kylie Paige. Kenzie is the current NWA World Women's Champion, in her first reign. Kenzie is also a former NWA World Women's Television Champion. Nilka García Solís (born November 14, 1981) is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler She is signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) known as Black Rose or ''La Rosa Negra''. The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world championship in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Created in 1943, the title is competed for by junior heavyweight wrestlers. Pinfall
In professional wrestling, a pin is a move where a wrestler holds an opponent's shoulders to the mat in an attempt to score a fall. A pinfall is a common victory condition, where the attacker pins an opponent and the referee makes a three count before the opponent gets released from the pin. Background The origin of the pinfall is the pin from amateur wrestling, whereby pinning an opponent to the mat will result in an automatic victory despite any points scored. However, while an amateur wrestling pin need be only one or two seconds, the count in professional wrestling is based on the referee's arm gestures, regardless of how much actual time elapses, and is to three slaps of the mat. Colby Steven Corino (born August 28, 1996) is an American professional wrestler performing for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he is a former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, and also appears on the independent circuit. He is the son of former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and ECW World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino.
