NOBODY Battalion
The Special Forces "NOBODY" Battalion is a Ukrainian military unit, part of the spetsnaz units of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine formed in 2022 as a response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. History The unit was established in 2022 and took part in the Battle of Kyiv in the initial stages of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It has also taken part in the Battle of Avdiivka, Battle of Vovchansk, raids on Nova Kakhovka, Enerhodar, "Boyko's towers", the Battle of Bakhmut, Battle of Horlivka and on the islands near Kherson. In 2022, the battalion together with other units of the took part in the Snake Island campaign to liberate the island. The battalion stormed the landing site on the island in an armored personnel carrier and striked Russian forces using night vision devices and high tech weapons. Snake Island Campaign
The Snake Island campaign was a period of Russian occupation and military conflict for Snake Island, a small, strategically located Ukrainian island in the Black Sea. On 24 February 2022, the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Navy attacked Snake Island and captured it along with its entire garrison, beginning a military occupation of the island. The attack was widely publicized when an audio clip of the Russian cruiser ''Moskva'' hailing the island's garrison over the radio demanding their surrender and being told " Russian warship, go fuck yourself" () in response went viral, along with initial inaccurate reports of the garrison's deaths. 24th Mechanized Brigade (Ukraine)
The 24th Mechanized Brigade (, abbreviated ) is a mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, based at Yavoriv in the west of Ukraine. The brigade, the oldest in continuous service within the Ground Forces, was originally formed as the 1st Simbirsk Infantry Division of Soviet Russia in 1918 during the Russian Civil War. BTR-82
The BTR-80 () is an 8×8 wheeled amphibious armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed in the Soviet Union. It was adopted in 1985 and replaced the previous vehicles, the BTR-60 and BTR-70, in the Soviet Army. It was first deployed during the Soviet–Afghan War.
