NK Publikum
Nogometni klub Celje (), commonly referred to as NK Celje or simply Celje (), is a professional football club from Celje, Slovenia. They play in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the top tier of Slovenian football. Together with Maribor, they are the only club that have participated in every season of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its formation in 1991. Celje won their first league title in the 2019–20 season, a feat they have repeated four years later. They have also won two Slovenian Cups, in 2004–05 and 2024–25. History The club was formed in 1919 as ''SK Celje''. Soon after World War II, in 1946, the club changed its name to ''NK Kladivar'' (expressionistic term in Slovene for a blacksmith). Juan José "Juanjo" Nieto Zarzoso (born 3 October 1994) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Slovenian PrvaLiga club Celje. Mainly a right back, he can also play as a winger. Football career Born in Castellón de la Plana, Valencian Community, Nieto represented VV Rafalafena, CD Castellón, CF Futur and CD Roda as a youth. He made his senior debut with Castellón's first team on 16 December 2012, starting in a 1–1 Tercera División home draw against CD Eldense. On 16 September 2013, Nieto joined Real Valladolid, being assigned to the reserves also in the fourth level. 2024–25 UEFA Conference League Knockout Phase
The 2024–25 UEFA Conference League knockout phase began on 13 February with the knockout phase play-offs and ended on 28 May 2025 with the final at the Wrocław Stadium in Wrocław, Poland, to decide the champions of the 2024–25 UEFA Conference League. 2024–25 UEFA Conference League
The 2024–25 UEFA Conference League was the fourth season of the UEFA Conference League, Europe's tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. From this season, the competition was renamed from the UEFA Europa Conference League to the UEFA Conference League. This was also the first edition of the tournament played under a new format involving a 36-team league phase. This increased the total number of matches played in the competition proper from 141 to 153. The new format also did not allow teams to transfer from the Europa League league or knockout phase to the Conference League knockout phase, and thus Conference League winners ( Olympiacos in the 2023–24 edition) could no longer defend their title as the winner of the Conference League automatically qualified for the Europa League league phase. The 2022–23 Slovenian PrvaLiga was the 32nd edition of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its establishment in 1991. The season began on 15 July 2022 and ended on 20 May 2023. Olimpija Ljubljana won the league after beating Maribor 2–0 in the 31st round, clinching their third league title with five rounds to go.
