Md Nazrul Islam Khan, also known as N I Khan, is a former education secretary of Bangladesh. He is currently the chairman and independent director of International Leasing and Financial Services Limited. He is also former PS-1 to Sheikh Hasina, both when she was the leader of the opposition in parliament and in the Prime Minister's Office. International Leasing and Financial Services Limited is a major non-bank financial institution in Bangladesh. Md. Nazrul Islam Khan is the chairman and Md. Kazi Alamgir is the managing director of International Leasing and Financial Services Limited. Proshanta Kumar Halder, a banker and known as "Sultan of swindle", had according to media reports embezzled 30 billion taka from the institute and according to Bangladesh Bank 15.69 billion taka. Palli Sanchay Bank (), Rural Savings Bank, is a state owned bank in Bangladesh. Md. Akram-Al-Hossain is the chairman of the bank. Khondoker Ataur Rahman is the managing director of the bank. History On 2 July 2014, the Government of Bangladesh passed the Palli Sanchay Act 2014 to form the Palli Sanchay Bank. The bank was modeled after Grameen Bank, which was founded by Muhammad Yunus. According to the act, the government of Bangladesh would own 51 percent of the shares and members of Ektee Bari Ektee Khamar project (One House, One Farm project) would own rest of the shares. The bank would start with 10 billion taka authorised capital and 2 billion taka paid-up capital. Mustafa Kamal (Bengali: মোস্তফা কামাল; 9 May 1933 – 5 January 2015) was the 9th Chief Justice of Bangladesh. His landmark judgment was on the Masdar Hossain case, widely known as the 'separation of judiciary', which was a milestone in the quest for separation of powers between the judiciary and the executive of the state. Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, also known as Bangabandhu Bhaban or Dhanmondi 32, was a museum located in Dhanmondi Thana, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh, which was once the personal residence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding leader and first president of Bangladesh. The flag of Bangladesh was officially hoisted for the first time here before Bangladesh Liberation War. In 1975, Mujib was assassinated with most members of his family in this residence.
