''NFL on Sky Sports'', previously known as ''NFL Special'', is Sky Sports' flagship live American football programme, broadcasting live National Football League on Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays over the course of a season. It is normally broadcast on ''Sky Sports Main Event'' or ''Sky Sports NFL''. As of 2020, the broadcaster will be showing every Thursday Night Football, Thursday night, NBC Sunday Night Football, Sunday night and Monday Night Football, Monday night game live, alongside two Sunday evening games. As of the 2019 season, the show is presented by Neil Reynolds, with Jeff Reinebold, Shaun Gayle and Rob Ryan as regular co-analysts. Shaun Gayle
Shaun Lanard Gayle (born March 8, 1962) is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). He played twelve seasons, eleven for the Chicago Bears (1984–1994), and one for the San Diego Chargers (1995). He was a member of the Bears squad that won Super Bowl XX in 1985. He was also a member of the "Shuffling Crew" in the video The Super Bowl Shuffle. Gayle attended Ohio State University. Gayle owns the distinction of returning the shortest punt for a touchdown in NFL history, when he returned a punt five yards for a touchdown against the New York Giants in the Bears 1985 divisional playoff victory. Kirk Edward Herbstreit (; born August 19, 1969) is an American sportscaster and former college football player. He serves as an analyst for ESPN's '' College GameDay'', a television program covering college football, and he also provides color commentary on college football games on ESPN and ABC, and on Thursday Night NFL games on Prime Video. DeMarcus Omar Ware (born July 31, 1982) is an American former football outside linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Troy University and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.
