NFL On ABC
The ''NFL on ABC'' is the branding used of broadcasts of National Football League (NFL) games produced by ESPN and aired on ABC. Since their first time broadcasting NFL games in 1949, ABC had been a long time broadcast member of the NFL, with the network airing ''Monday Night Football'' from 1970 to 2005, playoff games and multiple Super Bowls. In 2006, ESPN took over as the exclusive rights holder to ''Monday Night Football'', and the ABC Sports division was merged into ESPN Inc. by parent company Disney. Afterward, ABC did not broadcast any game from the NFL, whether exclusive or a simulcast from ESPN, until they simulcasted an NFL Wild Card playoff game in 2016. Phil Collins
Philip David Charles Collins (born 30 January 1951) is an English musician, songwriter, record producer and actor. Norby Williamson (born 1963) is an American executive and television producer. He was the Executive Senior Vice President of Studio and Event Production for ESPN. Since October 2005, Williamson has overseen all studio shows as well as all live sporting events on ESPN networks. Williamson was born in central Connecticut in the early 1960s. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in corporate and video communications. He began his career in the ESPN mailroom in the 1980s.
