NEFC
NEFC, formally known as New England Fútbol Club, is an American soccer club based in Boston, Massachusetts that competes in the Northeast Division of USL League Two. The club was founded in 2009 as a soccer training academy for the Greater Boston area. NEFC has training facilities in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Their highest level team joined USL League Two starting with the 2025 season. The club's colors are red, navy, and white, and plays its home matches at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Alumni Stadium History NEFC was founded in 2009 with the merger of the New England Eagles FC and FC PUMA. It was further expanded in 2014 when it absorbed Black Watch Premier Soccer Club, but continued to play under the NEFC name. Commonwealth Coast Football
Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) was a single-sport athletic conference that competed in football in the NCAA's Division III. It began play as CCC Football in 2017 after the New England Football Conference (NEFC) was renamed following the 2016 season. CCC Football was administered by the Commonwealth Coast Conference, known since August 2024 as the Conference of New England. The conference competed under the NEFC banner from 1965 through the 2016 season. Member teams are located in New England. Before an NEFC conference split that took effect with the 2013 season, the NEFC was divided into the Boyd Division and the Bogan Division, with the division champions competing in Division III football's only season-ending conference championship game. USL League Two
USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league will feature 144 teams for the 2025 season, split into nineteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The Seacoast United Phantoms are the current champions, having defeated Peoria City 3–2 in extra time to win the 2024 USL League Two Championship final on August 3, 2024.
