NBP FC
National Bank of Pakistan Football Club, commonly known as National Bank or NBP FC, served as the football section of National Bank of Pakistan until its dissolution in 2021. Based in Karachi, Sindh, the club used to compete in the top-tier Pakistan Premier League. History The club has won Football Federation League twice, first in 1993 and again in 2004–05. They have also won National Football Challenge Cup twice, in 1993 and 2013. The club was dissolved after the shutdown of departmental sports in Pakistan in September 2021. KMC Football Stadium
The KMC Football Stadium, also known as the CDGK Stadium, is an association football stadium in Karachi, Pakistan, with a capacity of around 15,000. The stadium is owned by the Karachi Municipal Corporation. It is one of the oldest stadiums in the country, and has hosted over 100 international football matches. Pakistan national football team, Pakistan team has played here against visiting teams from the Soviet Union, USSR, Iran, China, Turkey, Kuwait, Korea, Japan, Germany and United States, USA. History Early years The stadium was built before the Partition of India, partition of British Raj, as a piece of barren land surrounded by a 12 ft wall. In 1956, in a match featuring Keamari Union against Baloch XI, the pavilion collapsed with close to 100 people getting injured. The then commissioner of Karachi, Ghulam Ahmed Madni visited the ground after the tragedy, being instructed by the president of Pakistan Ayub Khan, to start the renovation work in 1962.
