NASCAR Xfinity Series At Las Vegas (spring Race)
Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series have been held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada since the track opened in 1997. Currently, the track holds two Xfinity Series races. The 300-mile (480 km) spring race is currently The LiUNA! and the 301.5-mile (485 km) playoff race held in the fall is currently the Focused Health 302. Spring race The LiUNA! is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada that has been held since 1997. Justin Myrl Allgaier (born June 6, 1986) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro (sixth generation), Chevrolet SS for JR Motorsports and part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 40 Chevrolet Camaro (sixth generation)#ZL1, Chevrolet ZL1 for JRM. James Peter Spencer (born February 15, 1957) is an American former racing driver, team owner, talk show host and television commentator. He is best known for competing in NASCAR. He hosted the NASCAR-inspired talk show, ''What's the Deal?'', on Speed, and was co-host, with John Roberts and Kenny Wallace, of Speed's pre-race and post-race NASCAR shows '' NASCAR RaceDay'' and '' NASCAR Victory Lane''. Before retiring, Spencer had a segment on Speed's ''NASCAR Race Hub'' offering commentary and answering viewer questions (on Tuesdays and Thursdays). During his days racing modifieds, he was nicknamed "Mr. Excitement" for his aggressive racing style. Diamond Ridge Motorsports
Diamond Ridge Motorsports (formerly Diamond-Waltrip Racing, and Pastrana-Waltrip Racing) was a NASCAR Nationwide Series team that competed in the NASCAR Cup Series and Busch Series from 1990 to 1999, and revived as a Nationwide Series team in 2010. The original Diamond Ridge team was owned and operated by Gary Bechtel. Despite modest success in the Busch Series, the team was never able to maintain a competitive level in the Winston Cup Series. The team was revived as a partnership with Michael Waltrip Racing in 2010 as Diamond-Waltrip Racing, running full-time in the Nationwide Series with Trevor Bayne. Jeff Green (racing Driver)
Jeffrey Lynn Green (born September 6, 1962) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and crew chief. He most recently worked for RSS Racing as the crew chief for their No. 28 car in the ARCA Menards Series, driven by Kyle Sieg, and also competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as a start and park driver for the team. Green's 1990 Nashville Speedway USA championship led to his first foray in NASCAR. For several years, he raced part time in the Busch Series before thriving as a full-time driver in 1995 and 1996. He then went through a two-year Cup stint with Diamond Ridge Motorsports and Felix Sabates. Green returned to the Busch Series in 1999 for three seasons.
