NACAM Formula 4 Championship
The North and Central American (NACAM) Formula 4 Championship is a formula racing series run to Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was held over 2015-16 NACAM Formula 4 Championship, 2015 and 2016. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 was to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs were also regulated. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30,000 and a single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000. NACAM Formula 4 was the last series to start in 2015 and the eighth Formula 4 category overall. Alexandra Mohnhaupt made history in 2018 as the first female driver to win a race to Formula 4 regulations, the Mexican driver winning the first and second races at the fourth round of the 2017–18 season. A straight-four engine (also referred to as an inline-four engine) is a four-cylinder piston engine where cylinders are arranged in a line along a common crankshaft. The majority of automotive four-cylinder engines use a straight-four layout (with the exceptions of the flat-four engines produced by Subaru and Porsche) and the layout is also very common in motorcycles and other machinery. 2022 NACAM Formula 4 Championship
The 2022 NACAM Formula 4 Championship season was the sixth season of the NACAM Formula 4 Championship. It began on 26 March at Autódromo de Quéretaro in El Marqués and ended on 30 October at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City with the additional, non-championship, round held on 9–10 December at the same circuit. Teams and drivers All teams were Mexican-registered. Notes Race calendar All rounds were held in Mexico. The first five rounds were a part of the Copa Notiauto series roster, whereas the last round was held in the support of the 2022 Mexico City Grand Prix. The non-championship round staged after the season finale was confirmed later, and was held in the support of the Copa Notiauto's Endurance 24 race. 2021 NACAM Formula 4 Championship
The 2021 NACAM Formula 4 Championship season was planned to be the sixth season of the NACAM Formula 4 Championship. It was supposed to begin on 3 June at Autódromo Monterrey in Apodaca and end on 7 November at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City after five rounds. However, because of the pandemic issues, four non-championship events were held instead. México City Grand Prix: NACAM F4 teams and drivers Race calendar The calendar was announced on 24 March 2021. The season was set to start with two rounds in the United States and the rest in Mexico. The American rounds were turned into non-championship event, resulting in the season start officially moving to Autódromo Monterrey in June. Esteban Manuel Gutiérrez Gutiérrez (; born 5 August 1991) is a Mexican former racing driver and businessman, who competed in Formula One from to . Moisés de la Vara (born August 13, 1997) is a Mexican racing driver. Calvin Ming
Calvin Stanley Ming (born July 25, 1996) is a racing driver from Guyana. Biography Ming began his career aged 6, when his father Stanley – a former motorcycle racer – bought him a go-kart for his birthday. Having competed in karting across the Caribbean, he relocated to Florida in 2015 to pursue a career in cars. He made his début in U.S. F1600, and simultaneously began testing in Formula 4 with a view to contesting the Mexican championship – completing an exhibition at the South Dakota Circuit in Guyana in an effort to garner local sponsorship.
