Metro North West Line
Metro North West Line is a rapid transit rail line in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The first–and currently the only line on the Sydney Metro network, it commenced operation on 26 May 2019, running between and . The line will be extended through the Sydney central business district and towards Bankstown with 18 more stations, as part of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project, with an opening date of 2024. Construction The North West Line is being constructed in two stages. The current section was completed in May 2019 under the Sydney Metro Northwest project, which involved the construction of an entirely new line between Tallawong and Epping, along with the conversion of the Epping to Chatswood railway line which previously operated under suburban Sydney Trains services. The Sydney Metro ''Metropolis'' Stock is a class of electric multiple units that operate on the Sydney Metro network. Epping To Chatswood Railway Line
The Epping to Chatswood rail link (ECRL) (originally a part of the Parramatta Rail Link (PRL) proposal) is a railway line in the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia, which connects Epping station on the Northern line with Chatswood on the North Shore line. It was formerly considered its own railway line, but is now considered part of the Metro North West Line. The 13 km line runs completely underground and includes three intermediate stations: Macquarie University, Macquarie Park and North Ryde. The junction stations at Epping and Chatswood both underwent major redevelopments to incorporate the new link. It was in service for less than a decade, opening in February 2009 and closing in September 2018. Kellyville, New South Wales
Kellyville is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 36 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of The Hills Shire. It is part of the Hills District region. History Kellyville is believed to be named after Hugh Kelly, who owned land comprising the Kellyville Estate. Kelly owned a hotel on the corner of Wrights and Windsor Roads called the ''Bird-In-Hand''. Kellyville's origins as a landmark date to at least 1810 with the grant of land and the 1820s construction of the White Hart Inn. The foundations for the Inn remain. The Inn was a popular stable and accommodation on the main road to Windsor. The White Hart Inn existed long prior to its competitor The Bird In Hand.
