Jenílson Brito Rodrigues (born 6 December 1978), better known as Mão, is a Brazilian beach soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He is a record five-time winner of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup (2006 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, 2006, 2007 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, 2007, 2008 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, 2008, 2009 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, 2009, 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, 2017) and won the Golden Glove (best goalkeeper) award at Dubai 2009. 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. Overall, this was the 19th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the '' Beach Soccer World Championships'' which ran from 1995 to 2004 but was not governed by FIFA. The Brazil national beach soccer team represents Brazil in international beach soccer competitions and is controlled by the CBF, the governing body for football in Brazil. Brazil is the most successful national team in the FIFA World Cup, being crowned winner a record seven times and having won the defunct World Championships also a record nine times. The Seleção also has the best overall performance in the World Cup competition, both in proportional and absolute terms. The 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup CONMEBOL qualifier, also later and commonly known as the ''2011 South American Beach Soccer Championship'', was the fourth Beach Soccer World Cup qualification championship for South America, held from July 31– August 7 on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
