Márcio Cazorla
Márcio Fernandez Cazorla (born 16 March 1971), simply known as Márcio or Márcio Cazorla, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Reserve goalkeeper for Vasco in the 90s and early 2000s, he was a substitute for big names like Carlos Germano and Helton. Still, he played 113 matches and participated in the club's conquest of several clubs. He ended his career in 2004 after having problems with late salary payments. 2003 Campeonato Carioca
The 2003 edition of the Campeonato Carioca kicked off on January 16 and ended on March 23, 2003. It is the official tournament organized by FFERJ (Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, or Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Only clubs based in the Rio de Janeiro State are allowed to play. Twelve teams contested this edition. Vasco da Gama won the title for the 22nd time. Volta Redonda was relegated. The Trofeo Ciudad de Zaragoza is a soccer tournament organized by Real Zaragoza based in the city of Zaragoza, Spain. It has been played, since its creation in 1971, at the La Romareda Stadium. After the death of the former soccer player Carlos Lapetra in 1995, the trophy changed its name in his honor, so since the 1998 edition, it has been held under the name Memorial Carlos Lapetra . History The first edition of the Trofeo Ciudad de Zaragoza was held in May 1971, approved with a budget of 3 million pesetas that was expected to be obtained from ticket sales. Copa Mercosur
The Copa Mercosur (, , "Mercosur Cup") was a Association football, football competition played from 1998 to 2001 by the traditional top clubs from Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile. The competition was created by CONMEBOL to generate TV money to the participating teams, but it went beyond and ended up, together with the Copa Merconorte, as natural replacement to the CONMEBOL Cup.
