Myx Music Awards 2024
The Myx Awards 2024 was the 17th installment of the Myx Music Awards, acknowledging the biggest hit makers of 2024 in the Philippine music industry. Samm Alvero and Edward Barber are the presenters of this edition. Nominees were announced on September 27, 2024, through the music channel's digital accounts. Voting begins on October 5, 2024, and ended on November 10, 2024. The awards night was held on November 21, 2024 at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City, exclusively live streamed on YouTube. Rapper Al James, and P-pop groups Bini and SB19 tying for the most wins with two. Rapper Gloc-9 receives Myx Magna Award. Myx VJ Search
The ''MYX VJ Search'' is a special competition held annually by MYX, the number one music channel in the Philippines. It gives young people the chance to fulfill their dreams of becoming the next MYX VJ. Auditions are held at ABS-CBN in Quezon City, usually on four separate dates within the same month. After the auditions, 12 finalists are chosen who then go through a training experience process usually lasting up to two months. The ''MYX VJ Search'' is broadcast on MYX and split into 8 episodes, the last episode being the finals night, in which the winners are announced. The winners are chosen by MYX, through the text votes of the viewers and by the MYX team's own selection. Timothy Dionela (born March 14, 1999), known professionally by his last name as Dionela (), is a Filipino singer-songwriter and musician. "Raining in Manila" is a song by the Filipino rock band Lola Amour and the lead single from their self-titled debut studio album (2024). It was released on June 14, 2023, by Warner Music Philippines.
