Hilera is a Filipino rock band formed in December 2004. Originally a three-piece band, it currently consists of Chris Padilla, Bobby Padilla and Luke Xavier Bayhon. Formation In February 2004, bandmates Chris Padilla and Ivan Garcia decided to form their own three-piece band. After months of searching, Padilla's brother Bobby was showing potential with his drumming skills. They decided to move forward with their lineup, and in December 2004 Hilera was officially formed. The band joined the Nescafe Soundskool Battle of the Bands in 2005. Mayonnaise are a five-piece Filipino alternative rock band, fronted by Monty Macalino and famous for winning the "Red Horse Muziklaban" contest in 2004. History The band were named after the song " Mayonaise" by The Smashing Pumpkins and were formed in 2002 with a number of earlier former members until they settled with the four-piece lineup of Monty Macalino, Paga Manikan, Lee Maningas and Shan Regalado. UDD, shortened for Up Dharma Down, is a Filipino band formed in Manila in 2004. Kjwan is a Filipino hard rock band formed in 2003 by former Sandwich guitarist and lead vocalist Marc Abaya and Dicta License bassist Kelley Mangahas. True Faith is a band from the Philippines, formed in 1991. They have become one of the Philippines' most popular and accomplished bands. Ely Eleandre Basiño Buendia (born November 2, 1970) is a Filipino musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the alternative rock band Eraserheads, with whom he has released seven albums since their founding in 1989.
