Myron Henry Feeley
Myron Henry Feeley (February 18, 1885 – August 22, 1976) was an American-born farmer and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Canora from 1938 to 1948 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) member. He was born in Belvidere, Illinois, the son of James C. Feeley and Florence Avery, and was educated in Mason City, Iowa. Feeley came to Canada in 1903, settling on a homestead near Preeceville, Saskatchewan. He served on the local committee of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and on the local school board. In 1921, Feeley married Norma Buchecker. Legislative Assembly Of Saskatchewan
The Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan () is the legislative chamber of the Saskatchewan Legislature in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Bills passed by the assembly are given royal assent by the lieutenant governor of Saskatchewan, in the name of the King of Canada. The assembly meets at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Regina. There are 61 constituencies in the province, which elect members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). All are single-member districts, though the cities of Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw were in the past represented through multi-member districts, with members elected through block voting. Alex Kuziak
Alex Gordon Kuziak (October 15, 1908 – May 14, 2010) was an educator, businessman and politician of Ukrainian descent in Saskatchewan. He represented Canora from 1948 to 1964 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) member. Early life and career Kuziak was born in Canora, Saskatchewan, the son of Jacob Kuziak and Mary Luchuk, and was educated in Canora, Yorkton and Saskatoon. He attended normal school in Regina and then taught school in Canora for five years. Kuziak next served as secretary-treasurer for the rural municipality of Keys, operated an insurance and real estate business in Canora and was a partner in Canora Electric and Heating. Preeceville, Saskatchewan
Preeceville is a town in Saskatchewan, Canada. The town is west of Sturgis and north of Yorkton at the junction of Highway 49, Highway 47, Highway 9 and near Highway 755. The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool was a grain handling, agri-food processing and marketing company based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Pool created a network of marketing alliances in North America and internationally which made it the largest agricultural grain handling operation in the province of Saskatchewan. Before becoming Viterra, SWP had operated 276 retail outlets and more than 100 grain handling and marketing centres.
