Myloslavska (Kyiv Light Rail)
Myloslavska ( uk, Милославська) is a station on the Livoberezhna line (Kyiv Light Rail), Livoberezhna Line of the Kyiv Light Rail system. It was opened on May 26, 2000 and reopened after a significant modernization of the line on October 26, 2012. Myloslavska is a terminus station of the Livoberezhna Line, and is located right after the Oleksandry Ekster (Kyiv Light Rail), Oleksandry Ekster station. It is named after the Myloslavska Street in northeastern Kyiv's Troieshchyna neighborhood. At one point the Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv City authorities proposed creating the "Vulytsia Myloslavska" station of the Kyiv Metro's Livoberezhna line (Kyiv Metro), Livoberezhna Line, although that entire project was scrapped in favor of expanding the existing light rail system. Livoberezhna Line (Kiev Light Rail)
The Livoberezhna line is the second line of the Kyiv Light Rail, located in the eastern part of Kyiv. The tram corridor was opened on May 26, 2000, rebuilt from 2010 to 2012, and reopened again on October 25, 2012. Trams No 4 and No 5 run along the Livoberezhna Line. At one point, the Kyiv City Administration proposed extending the Kyiv Metro system to Troieschyna by creating the Livoberezhna Line, although this proposal was scrapped in 2014 in favor of keeping the light rail system. Troieshchyna
Troieshchyna (, uk, Троєщина, lit=Trinity, translit=Troyeshchyna) also known as Vyhurivschyna-Troieshchyna since 1997 (, uk, Вигурівщина-Троєщина) is a large neighborhood of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, the biggest subdivision in Ukraine. Troieshchyna is an outskirt located on the city's northern left-bank and is administratively part of the Desnianskyi District. Overview The neighborhood is a large whole-planned bedroom district housing the population of at least 240,000 residents but also includes a small industrial area. Troieshchyna only became part of Kyiv municipality in 1988; prior to that it was a village of Kyiv Oblast which still exists on the edge of the new neighborhood. The area suffers from inadequate transport links to the rest of the city. Livoberezhna line ( uk, Лівобережна лінія; literally ''left bank line'') was a proposed fifth metro line of the Kyiv Metro system, which was planned to serve the left bank neighborhoods of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The line is typically colored sky blue on the maps. Kyiv Metro
The Kyiv Metro ( uk, Ки́ївський метрополіте́н, Kyivskyi metropoliten, ) is a rapid transit system in Kyiv that is owned by the Kyiv City Council and operated by the city-owned company Kyivsky Metropoliten''.'' It was initially opened on November 6th, 1960, as a single line with five stations. It was the first rapid transit system in Ukraine and the third in the Soviet Union, after the Moscow and St. Petersburg metros. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a railway platform, platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or bus rapid transit, transitway. Oleksandry Ekster (Kyiv Light Rail)
Oleksandry Ekster ( uk, Марини Цвєтаєвої; from 2000 to 2008, Tsvetaievoi; from 2008 to 2023, Maryny Tsvetaievoi) is a station on the Livoberezhna Line of the Kyiv Light Rail system. It was opened on May 26, 2000 and reopened after a significant modernization of the line on October 26, 2012. Maryny Tsvetaievoi is located in between the Myloslavska and Serzha Lyfaria stations. Initially named in honour of Marina Tsvetaeva, a Russian poet, but it was renamed in 2023 in honour of Aleksandra Ekster, painter and designer of the Ukrainian avant-garde.
