Mydecine
Mydecine Innovations Group, or simply Mydecine, is an United States, American and Canada, Canadian pharmaceutical company that is developing psychedelic drug, psychedelics and entactogens as medicines. In August 2022, it was reported that Mydecine was experiencing financial difficulties and might cease operations. However, the company was able to obtain more funding and did not shutdown. Mydecine made the first legal import of magic mushrooms into Canada in 2021. Mydecine's drug candidates include the psychedelics psilocybin (MYCO-001, MYCO-003), MYCO-004 (a transdermal patch, patch-delivered tryptamine), and MYCO-005 (a novel aza-, aza psilocin structural analog, analogue with putatively better drug safety, safety) and the novel MDMA-like entactogens MYCO-002 (putatively safer), MYCO-006 (short-acting), and MYCO-007 (short-acting). This is a list of investigational hallucinogens and entactogens, or hallucinogens and entactogens that are currently under formal development for clinical use but are not yet approved. ''Chemical/generic names are listed first, with developmental code names, synonyms, and brand names in parentheses.'' The list also includes non-hallucinogenic drugs related to hallucinogens, such as non-hallucinogenic serotonin 5-HT2A receptor agonists and non-hallucinogenic ketamine analogues. Cannabinoids, or cannabinoid receptor modulators, are not included in this list. Many of the indications are not for continuous medication therapy but rather are for medication-assisted psychotherapy or short-term use only.
