Myanmar National Truth And Justice Party
The Myanmar National Truth and Justice Party (MNTJP) is a political party in Myanmar. It is the political wing of the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), an armed resistance group in the Kokang region of Myanmar. The MNTJP cooperates politically and militarily with other members of the Northern Alliance and the Three Brotherhood Alliance. It is also a member of the Federal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee (FPNCC), which is led by the United Wa State Army (UWSA). Peng Daxun
Peng Daxun (, ), also known as Peng Deren (, born 1957 or 1965), is a Burmese Kokang military leader serving as commander of the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) since 2009. He is the son of Pheung Kya-shin, his immediate predecessor as commander of the MNDAA, and had waged a war against the Tatmadaw and government of Myanmar to reclaim control over the region of Kokang. Although he led the MNDAA to major victories against the Myanmar military in northern Shan State such as recapturing the Kokang region and the town of Lashio, he has since shifted in stance towards upholding China's peace policy in Myanmar after he was detained by Chinese authorities in Yunnan province in October 2024. The Battle of Laukkai was a military offensive conducted by the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) encircling and capturing Laukkai, the capital of the Kokang Self-Administered Zone (Kokang SAZ) in northeastern Myanmar. The battle was part of the larger Operation 1027, a joint military operation conducted by the Three Brotherhood Alliance coalition of three ethnic armed organisations and part of the overall Myanmar civil war (2021-present), renewed civil war in Myanmar. Chinshwehaw, a key border town and main entrypoint into Kokang on the Lashio-chinshwehaw Road was seized on the first day of Operation 1027. The United Wa State Army ( Parauk: , zh, s=佤邦联合军, t=佤邦聯合軍, p=Wǎbāng Liánhéjūn; , ), abbreviated as the UWSA or the UWS Army, is the military wing of the United Wa State Party (UWSP), the ''de facto'' ruling party of Wa State (officially known as the Wa Self-Administered Division) in Myanmar. The Federal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee (, abbreviated FPNCC) is an alliance and coalition of seven ethnic armed organisations (EAOs) in Myanmar seeking to negotiate with the central government. Four FPNCC membersthe Arakan Army (AA), the Kachin Independence Army (KIA), the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)are also members of the Northern Alliance. Three Brotherhood Alliance
The Three Brotherhood Alliance (); ( zh, 三兄弟联盟), also known as Brotherhood Alliance, is an alliance between the Arakan Army, Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army, and the Ta'ang National Liberation Army formed in June 2019. The group rose to prominence in 2023 in resisting the Burmese junta in the wake of the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état. The three armed groups were silent about the coup initially but released a statement reaffirming the alliance's existence in March 2021. Laukkai (also known as Laukkaing, Laogai or Laokai; ; ) is the capital of Kokang Self-Administered Zone in the northern part of Shan State, Myanmar.
